Ancient Greek fashion advertisement.

Gap Greeks

A dialogue, from left to right

Woman with Spear: I am a strong female role model asserting myself with this fashionable accessory to demonstrate to young women consumers everywhere that I am not bound to conventional gender roles that you, as a man, have personally forced all women to endure throughout the ages.

Man with Fruit: And I am a male model posing with a piece of fruit.

Man with Stick: I have a stick and I'm not afraid to use it. Are you noticing me?

Man with Cape: This wreath here is by Calvin Kleinopolis. It's for both men and women. Wanna try it on?

Woman, Leaning: No thanks, but I'll try on that cape of yours.

Another Man with Stick: I'm not sure this is working for me. I mean, what's my motivation? What? Oh. Oh, yeah. Money. I know this isn't theatre, but I just wanted to go for something authentic, you know?

Woman with Pottery: Is this coy enough?
