Today is the anniversary of Apollo 11 and the first lunar landing in 1969. As far as I am concerned, it is a day of celebration and ought to be declared a national holiday.
Coincidentally, I have been reading Jules Verne’s From the Earth to the Moon, which is quite enjoyable. I wish the film adaptation were available on DVD.
