  1. I can almost give you your Reaper wish. Reaper will return on March 3rd at a new time, 8pm. 26 more days! Here’s the S2 trailer (although now of course, the date and time is wrong). Spread the word! Now that we’re going head to head against American Idol, we need all the viewers we can get! If you want more info, all the Reaper news for January can be found at our ReaperDMV.com news blog.

Have you seen The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas? I just watched it a few days ago (*coughonmycomputercough*) and if I was a crier during movies, I definitely would have sobbed. Anyway, I am recommending it to you! I’m planning on reading the book next, even though I’ve broken my “read the book before watching the movie!!!!!!!!!!” rule.

I would really like to see Slumdog Millionaire though.

Not only have I not seen it, but I know nothing about it! If you recommend it, though, I should probably watch it.

By the way, did I mention my father really liked Marley and Me? For his birthday last week I gave him another book along similar lines, Dewey, the book about the library cat. He was quite happy.

I have Dewey on my amazon.com wishlist! Has he read it yet? I will hopefully buy it some day. My library has 1 copy and there are currently 67 holds for it.

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is a Holocaust story, but it follows the life of a boy whose father is one of the head “bad guys”. The boy starts sneaking out of his yard and becomes friends with a little boy who is in a camp and they talk to each other through the fence and he brings him food. It’s not 100% historically accurate (I’ve read a lot of books on the Holocaust), but I still enjoyed it.
