An Update on Updates
As promised, I added more New Year resolutions to last week's update.
Also, I finally ordered and received that book on military history I described vaguely on the 27th of November. The title is Fighting Techniques of the Medieval World (ISBN: 0312348207). I am trying to get Fighting Techniques of the Ancient World as well, but it's on backorder.
In an amendment to my update on the 30th of December, I do not abhor all hockey mascots. I dislike the idea of them in the NHL, especially in Columbus, but I don't mind them in other leagues or for schools. I just hate the name Blue Jacket being associated with an insect. So, I'm not quite as curmudgeonly as you may have assumed.
'Tis time for me to dash. It wasn't much of an update, but the next one will be twice as good. I don't set a high bar for myself here, do I?
