What Am I Doing at This Late Hour?
I've only seen one film at the cinema this year, but at least it was a good one: Peter Pan. It is a marvelously realized fantasy with excellent casting. Of course, it's a bit late to be recommending it, since it was released on Christmas Day, but it's worth seeing if you happen to notice it playing somewhere.
I just finished reading Rubicon: The Last Years of the Roman Republic by Tom Holland. It's engrossing and several other adjectives, but I haven't the time to write a review, so I'll just suggest you read it (and lament parenthetically the demise of classical education in the world) and leave it at that, because a man must sleep sometime, and that time is now.
I'll do my best to keep last month's promise to try to update the Cuparium more than once a month. Nighty night.
