What Am I Doing?
A good question: what am I doing? I am updating the Cuparium... three weeks late. I'm still trying to think of what to write. I've been very busy with work, my sleep schedule is erratic and inadequate, and I really need to change my diet. As the year winds down, I find that I'd rather just hibernate for a bit.
On the other hand, I've seen two excellent movies recently. Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World is the finest film dealing with naval warfare in the Napoleonic Wars I have ever seen. I've seen it twice, and I yearn to see it again and again in my own private cinema. You need to see it on a huge screen to appreciate it. It's vast.
The other movie is The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, which also requires a very large screen and the best sound system you can find. Cinemas really ought to bring back the intermission for long films, though. I saw it a second time on Christmas Day, and it would have been nice to have the opportunity to stretch my legs.
That's all for 2003, and here's the fifth annual link to the true lyrics of Auld Lang Syne. Take care. See you next year.
I'll keep posting if you keep reading. Be seeing you... :-?
