Another Celtic Holiday and I Am Working
Moya! An entire month has transpired since the last update, and I can only blame Ninja Burger and its stealthy employees for the delay. But enough of ninja treachery! Today is Saint Patrick's Day, so raise a glass in his honor. And if you intend to drink, don't drive.
Peace!
Succinct Notes
Due to harmless shenanigans, the Cuparium's text is green.
Site-Seeing
I have Beckerina to thank for making me go to Homestar Runner, a ludicrous website that defies description. The Strong Bad e-mails are especially hilarious.
From the Bookshelf
Alas, I haven't had time to read a book lately. I must do something about that...
At the Cinema
I saw Daredevil twice. As far as movies based on superhero comic books are concerned, it's quite good. X-Men 2 looks very promising, too. I wish I could be as optimistic about The Incredible Hulk, but the trailer was disappointing. As my brother commented, the Hulk looked as if he were made of Pla-Doh. I hope it doesn't cause too much loss of momentum for the Marvel motion picture juggernaut. DC, in contrast, is utterly hopeless. I have given up on them.
I also saw Chicago. The performers were good, but the only character who interested me was the Hungarian girl. I wanted to know more about her, but her part was small and mostly in Hungarian.
On the Telly
Friday evenings are a good time for watching television nowadays, thanks to episodes of Hack, Monk, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent with no overlap. I am very enthusiastic about all three programs, and I would gladly expound at length on their numerous virtues, but it is nearly three o'clock in the morning and I have only a few hours to sleep before I must rise and go to work, so I shall merely ask you to give them a chance. They are worth it.
