As I Was Saying
So much for getting back on schedule. This is a very brief update. Thank you, please come again, and good night.
At the Cinema
Gangs of New York: Daniel Day-Lewis is superb as Bill the Butcher. He deserves the highest honors the film industry is capable of bestowing. The set and cinematography are excellent. The writing (apart from Bill the Butcher's lines), the directing, and most of the cast are mediocre. 'Tis a shame the movie is so uneven. I am inclined to see it again, however, just to see Day-Lewis' performance on the big screen one more time. He is phenomenal.
I'll keep posting if you keep reading. Be seeing you... :-?
