What?
I know, I know. You have been patient, whereas I have been doctor--I mean delayed. And this is all you get. It is on occasions such as this that we must ask ourselves, "If I had to commute 90 miles to work and 90 miles home five to six days a week, would I have the time and will to update a website for which I receive no remuneration? Would I? Would I?!?" Well, if you were mad enough to drive 180 miles a day to and from your job, perhaps you would.
And in answer to the lost souls who inevitably and repeatedly inquire of me in a ghostly chorus, "Why, Gordon, why? Why, Gordon, wwhhhyyyy?" I repeat the inevitable answer. Madness runs in my family.
Site-Seeing
This is what you needed: The Phobia List. Yes.
From the Bookshelf
I squeezed in the time and, little by little, I finished reading The Gangs of New York. From now on, I shall only mention books I have finished. What I am currently reading shall remain a mystery. *dissolve*
At the Cinema
I am waiting for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and Gangs of New York. I saw Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets a second time, and I must conclude that it is long. Three hours including the trailers! No wonder I was nodding off! The movie was a bit boring, really. There was too much emphasis on action and special effects; there was too little attention paid to the characters and their interactions. Perhaps that is a lazy and slightly oversimplified assessment, but I am getting a bit *yawn* tired just thinking about it. Don't mind me. I'm just *yawn* sleepy and I... think I'll... take a... nap... Zzzz...
On the Telly
Trigger Happy TV. British. Saw it on Sunday. On Comedy Central. Hilarious.
"...upcoming American edition of the show." Bad idea. Stupid idea. Just send the British episodes. Idiots.
Quotations, Possibly?
What Gordon heard: "Maypole dream sharkie!"
What Kelly said: "My poor green Sharpie!"
I'll keep posting if you keep reading. Be seeing you... :-?
